OSU Press authors have an eventful week ahead. This Friday, former Oregon Governor Barbara Roberts will speak at Oregon State University (4 p.m., MU Journey Room) about the role of women in Oregon politics and her new autobiography.

Saturday finds Wild in the City editors Mike Houck and M.J. Cody at Tryon Creek State Park for the Annual Holiday Forest market and later that afternoon at the Audubon Society of Portland's Nature Store Holiday Open House.

If you drop by the Oregon Historical Society's Annual Holiday Cheer on Sunday afternoon, Carl Abbott, C. Melvin Aikens, and Avel Louise Gordly will be among the OSU Press authors greeting you.

On Wednesday December 7, Oregon State Capitol's Open House brings an evening of lights, entertainment, and authors—Barbara Roberts and Avel Louise Gordly among them. Visit the Capitol Building between December 8th and 22nd to see an exhibit selected from the Avel L. Gordly papers, sponsored by the PSU Library and Department of History.
