Birding Without Borders: An Epic Worldwide Big Year: In 2016, Oregon native and OSU graduate Noah Strycker, author of Among Penguins, became the first person to see more than half of the planet’s bird species in a single, year-long, worldwide birding adventure. Strycker will give a presentation on September 20, 7 p.m., at The LaSells Stewart Center on the OSU Campus in Corvallis. There will be a free reception following the presentation where attendees can meet Strycker.
